recently bought this device and his dock package and i recived it to israel 3 days ago.
I’m very disappointed from it, i had a lot of expectations from it and im been proven false.
Its start with a lot of problems with the installation progress that took me a day to undarstand.
The main problem is that the device browser dont support hebrew characters.
One of the main reasons i bought this device is the WI-FI and the intarnet browsing capbility, but if i can’t view hebrew pages this feature is useless to me.
I dont want my money back i just want a solution to my problam or other device that can give me this feature. After cheaking i know that the ipod touch have a support in hebrew characters and if i can replace my zune with ipod touch 32GB for me it will be a solution.
Im willing to pay the shipment if it’s neccecary, the device and its dock pack are sitting now in my room with no use until your response
I’m a very fun costumer of amazon, and every products i buought from books to speakers is always from you, my history speak for itself.
This is my first time i have a problem and im very hopfull that like expected from a respected company like you it will be solved.
Thank you very mach William Farjun.

Completly overpriced. No instructions for set up. I have to unplug every time I want to play through my television. I don’t know why, no instructions. Typical of microsoft product!

I bought the Zune HD AV dock with a new Zune HD, hoping to capture videos from the web to display on my TV. The dock itself comes with the fitting for the HD installed, and with alternate fittings for the two other Zune models. It also has an HDMI cable and a composite video cable for connecting to a TV. There is a connection for power, and for a digital fiber audio cable (but no digital cable). The dock is equipped with an unlabeled remote. There are no instructions on how to operate it at all. I have not been able to get either HDMI or composite video or audio onto my TV. There is some obscure feature you need to employ to switch the TV connection ON, which I cannot fathom. I have been able to play audio podcasts through my stereo. Unfortunately, there are no HD radio stations in Upstate NY, so I can’t report on the HD audio experience, although FM works fine through the Zune. So I am disappointed with the dock so far, but hope that I will be able to figure out the video problem. Bottom line: unless you have a clued-in teenager in your house, you should think twice about buying this dock.

Works as advertised, and is a must have accessory if you own a Zune HD. Output is great, new firmware and menuing is excellent and the remote is thoughtful and easy to use. Nice to be able to put the Marketplace on the HDTV.

Every Zune accessory that I have bought that has been made by Microsoft has been outstanding. This product is no different. It exceeded all of my expectations. The price that Amazon is selling the dock makes this an especially good deal.
